Could have a bus for Saturday…

Hi folks…we very well could end up with a bus for Saturday. If so, here’s the plan: Meet at Boone Mall in the parking lot near the rear of Belk, off to the side. If you’re looking at the back entrance to Belk, the lot is to your left. We’ll leave there at about 11:30 and go to our second stop;Food Lion lot in Blowing Rock. We should be there by noon–park on the outer edge of the lot in near the entrance closest to 321. This gives an option for folks from the Boone area and those from the Blowing Rock area who STILL couldn’t find a parking place.If for some reason this plan gets a kink in it, we’ll call EVERYONE

Memorial Day Concerts Set

The annual Memorial Day concerts are set–May 30th at 3 in Rosen Concert Hall at ASU, then the Community Memorial Day Ceremony at Boone Mall May 31st. Music starts at 10am, the ceremony at 11am

…and at ASU. Yes, the students are on spring break, and yes, the building will close at 5pm, but Bill has arranged for it to be opened for our rehearsal, but it may be pretty close to 7.

Friends!

I’m really exited to get to start again tonight! Don’t know about you but I’m going into band withdrawal….

We’ll mostly play through what we have – mabe sight-read another piece – and evaluate as to what we can realistically play on the upcoming concert.

Thank you for your patience! I think, barring another blizzard, we will try to continue on Tuesdays with whoever can make it, but PLEASE don’t endanger yourself to come.
