About WCB
Located in Boone, NC and founded in 1986, the Watauga Community Band is an all-volunteer concert band composed of members of the local community and students from Appalachian State University who share a love of making music. We rehearse weekly and play concerts throughout the year. No audition is required to participate but members must furnish and maintain their own instruments.
We meet Tuesdays during the school year at 7:30 PM in the Spencer Rehearsal Hall (Room 119) in the Broyhill Music Center on the campus of Appalachian State University. During the summer our meeting places change so please check our web site for locations and time.
